Voodoo Dolls

The practice of using Voodoo dolls in America came from slaves that were brought from Haiti to New Orleans back in the 18th century. Many slave owners during this time were known to execute any slave found with a voodoo doll in their possession. It has also been documented that voodoo dolls were used as far back as 1100 BC in Egypt by the enemies of Pharaoh Ramses III. His enemies used wax images of him and the women of his harem to bring about his death!
