Licorice root

Licorice root is primarily used in love magic to: attract, control, and compel lovers. It is usually used in : love, lust, and fidelity spells to sweeten either strong-willed or wandering lovers over the course of several rituals. In general, licorice root can be chewed when in the presence of the one that you want to manipulate then spit out once their back is turned in order to get more control over that particular person. A good amount of licorice root can also be simply chewed up and spit into a mason jar that includes the names of those that you want to control then sealed shut.

Licorice root, in the powdered form, can be sprinkled on the foot prints of a lover to ensure their swift return home. You can tie your target’s name to a piece of licorice root, in the stick form, with a red piece of yarn or cord then place it under your mattress. Licorice root is also an excellent option to use with Calamus root for court cases. Grinded licorice root mixed with Calamus root and either castor oil or mineral oil makes for a powerful commanding oil!
