Chango Macho candle

The Chango Macho candle is lit so that the King of the orishas or the “Spirit of Lightning” can assist you in: defeating your enemies, increasing wealth, and love spells. His favorite color is red and white. The best day to light the Chango Macho candle is on a Friday and his number is 6. When deciding to work with Chango always approach him with extreme respect and caution though because he can and will cause irreparable harm to your enemies.

Consider petitioning Chango along with Elegua and Ogun you will move mountains for sure! To call upon Chango light a Dragon’s Blood Incense stick  or a Protection Incense stick and place a clean glass of water on your altar. It is advised that you should petition Elegua, the road opener, first and then ask that he intercede so that you can work with Chango. Place an offering of: rum, red wine, a red apple, a banana, and or red palm oil in front of your Chango Macho candle. Traditionally some folks would take four bananas and rub them in red palm oil then they would wrap each in a red string and secure them with three knots. As you wrap the bananas put your full intent for this spell behind it.

If you are petitioning Chango for protection, get an egg and hold it in your hand and ask that it cleanses you of any negativity sent your way then rub downward with the egg all over your naked body from your head to your feet. Dip the bottom half of the egg in red palm oil and place the egg in a plate on top of the wrapped bananas. Spray the Chango Macho candle or his statute with a nice men’s cologne. Put three drops of either: Van Van oil, Showers of Gold oil, or any other oil that fits the situation that you are petitioning for. Speak your affirmations and then light the candle with a match. You can read Psalm 140 every day over the candle as long as it is lit.

Based on my own personal experience, it usually starts thundering and lightning either that night or the following day as a sign that my prayers have been received and is already in motion! Once the candle has finished fold your petition paper three times towards you and place it inside the empty candle then take the remnants of this spell along with the offerings and leave it under a palm tree. If palm trees aren’t available in your area then you can place it under an old tree in the forest.
